I also love the variety of ages of the characters and how well she writes each of them. She manages to capture teenagers and their thoughts so well. Her writing is descriptive without attacking you with a thousand adjectives. WritingĪ big part of the reason why I couldn’t put this down was because of the writing. The story is excellently paced and every chapter left me hanging on the edge of my seat. One of Us is Next made me so happy that I’m not in high school anymore. I received a review copy from Penguin Random House SA. And this time, there’s a whole new set of rules. Simon’s gone, but someone’s determined to keep his legacy at Bayview High alive. The dares have become deadly, and if Maeve learned anything from Bronwyn last year, it’s that they can’t count on the police for help. But by the time Knox is about to be tagged, things have gotten dangerous. Then comes Maeve and she should know better-always choose the dare. This time it’s not an app, though-it’s a game. A ton of copycat gossip apps have popped up since Simon died, but in the year since the Bayview four were cleared of his shocking death, no one’s been able to fill the gossip void quite like he could. Goodreads Description: Come on, Bayview, you know you’ve missed this. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my review of One of Us is Next by Karen M. Hello, book dragons! I hope you’re all doing good! This month is going to be a doozy, as I have three posts a week planned for the whole month.
